Posted by Dave Songer on Sep 15, 2017

15.09_Thameslink-Network Rail.jpgAs part of its Thameslink Programme that will improve connections across London and allow passengers to travel from the Peterborough and Cambridge to Blackfriars for the first time, Network Rail continued the major works at London Bridge station that began in 2015.

This Network Rail video documents some of the most recent and major upgrades that took place over an eight-day period, completing track installations at the central London transport hub.

The Thameslink Programme, which will open next year, will be linked by two rail tunnels in north London that which run between the East Coast main line near King’s Cross station and the Thameslink route at St Pancras station.
