Video of the week: Dublin to Cork by train in 83 second on the Irish Rail (Iarnród Éireann) non-stop express service.To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day we take a super quick trip from Dublin to Cork on-board the Irish Rail (Iarnród Éireann) non-stop express service. The journey, which typically takes 2 hours 15 minutes, links Cork’s Kent Station to Dublin Heuston and is the on only non-stop service of its type on the company’s national network. Improvements were made on the line between 2015 and 2016, shortening the journey and with the addition of free on-board Wi-Fi make the train an increasingly attractive option versus driving on the M8 between the Republic’s two largest cities.  Plus we also include one of the funniest rail adverts that Irish Rail have produced…
