Digital Sales across SmartRail World is the fastest growing product in our portfolio. Originally created 3 years ago to build community around our Conference and Expo’s the SmartRail World platform is now a legitimate business in its own right with huge potential for further growth. The foundation has been well laid and we have around 40 active clients and over 200 vendors commercially using the site. There is significant pipeline already in place and new clients joining weekly and a huge global database of digital and print advertisers, the candidate will have sole responsibility for taking the lead on all digital sales.
We aim to sell high value annual packages tailored to the clients needs. These include Display Ads in digital guides, banners, buttons etc. However where we differentiate ourselves are in our editorial partnerships and creating content strategies for our clients across our community of websites, subscribed e-news, bespoke E-books, Whitepaper release and lead generation.
The successful candidate will have 1-2 years B2B digital sales experience and will want to take ownership of the digital sales entirely to support our growth plans. Currently this role is autonomous and reports directly to the Sales Director. The role is viewed as key strategically to the business and will be well supported, if 2017 targets can be achieved then I see the candidate in this position taking ownership and starting to build a digital sales team of their own as the revenue increases.
