Signalling & Telecomms

OVERVIEW:
Although ERTMS has been in existence for over 20 years, the real benefits are yet to be seen by the railway industry and as such, migration has been slow. This stream will look at topics including strategies for transitioning to ERTMS, maximising use of communications networks, and the potential of automation to reduce rail’s capacity crisis. The content will be of benefit to professionals in areas including signalling, telecommunications and automation.
