Operational excellence and smart mobility

Urbanisation is a growing trend around the world and is causing a strain on existing public transport networks. A major goal of all urban operators is to reduce car ownership and encourage uptake of public transport while increasing capacity to deal with demand. This stream looks at how to use urban transport networks more intelligently by spreading passengers throughout the system – using up excess capacity at off peak times or different modes of transport. It will be ideal for passenger experience.
